Sad Post

It`s been a very sad week in our household, my Mother passed away last Monday evening. It wasn`t expectected even though she has had COPD and virtually housebound for the past 18 months. I`m sure she`s looking down on our family and helping us through this difficult time.

I`ve been playing with the Tonic Simplicity punches and this is what I`ve come up with.

The basket is made from a 12 x 12 sheet of card. The edging strips on the basket are punched using the Tonic Doily border punch. The handle is edged with the Tonic Victorian border punch.

The smaller flowers are made using the Petal Pairs Petite 1 punch and the larger flowers are made using the Petal Pairs set 2 punch.

I`ve stamped some leaves from the Tonic Birds on a Branch set 1, and embossed them in copper. Added a ribbon & a bow and there you have it one pretty basket - well I think so anyway, lol.

I`ve been out and abouting this week doing a demo in Hobbycraft in Cardiff last Saturday, where I met some lovely ladies and gentlemen. I will be in Swansea Hobbycraft this Wednesday from 11am - 3pm. If you`re free I`d love to have some company.

Will be back soon with some more gorgeous Tonic designs.

Hugs
Alison xx
