So excited ...........

I have had some wonderful news I`d like to share with you, I`ve been asked to join the Tonic Team as a full time member and will be starting in January. I have been soooooo excited, having been a crafter all my life this has turned my hobby into my job. I will keep you posted what is up and coming for me at Tonic Studios.

Have you managed to catch any of the Tonic Indulgence Affections Pick of the Week shows. This another set of Verso dies, so the scope for design is endless. The Tonic Team have come up with some stunning ideas from fabric crafts using felt, cottons & vinyl through to home decor, scrapbooking and card making.
Here`s a few examples I have come up with

I love making Pop Out cards, I think they are so elegant and definitely something special. I have cut 4 hearts for the centre of the card, folded them in half and placed some fishing line through the centre of the of the folds to make a 3D heart. This is then suspended in the middle if the heart aperture. I`ve also used some Frond Finesse die cuts and petal pair flowers cut in vellum. The border is made using the Loopy lace punch and threaded with ribbon.

This set of dies can be used to make elaborate or very simple cards and they still look stunning.

This card is made using the medium & small hearts and just cut them into the card stock. I`ve added some gold vellum behind the die cut as an insert and finished off with a ribbon, pearls and a petal pairs rose.
